Carpentry & Trim
Custom carpentry, trim, molding and more
Trim carpentry is what the eye actually lands on. A room can be perfectly framed and painted and still read as unfinished if the casing is cut a degree off or the base has a gap at the scribe. Older houses around here make that harder — nothing is square, nothing is plumb, and the answer is scribing to what is there rather than forcing stock trim to a wall that moved fifty years ago. Built-ins, mantels, crown, wainscot, interior doors and the repairs that go with them.
Our Process
See the Space
We look at what is there, what is original and worth keeping, and what has moved since it was built.
Choose the Profile
Profiles are matched to the house rather than to whatever the yard has in stock, and priced in writing.
Cut & Fit
Trim is scribed and fitted to the walls you actually have, not the square ones the stock assumes.
Fill, Sand & Finish
Joints are filled and sanded so they disappear under paint, and the work is walked with you.
