Decks & Exterior
Deck building, stairs, railings and exterior work
A deck at the shore lives a harder life than a deck anywhere inland — salt air, wind-driven rain and a UV load that finds every unsealed cut end. That shows up first in the fasteners and the framing, not the boards you can see, which is why we replace hardware and rotted framing rather than screwing new decking over a structure that is already going. Composite or wood, built to the township's code and inspected where it needs to be.
Our Process
Walk the Site
We look at the ground, the access, the existing structure if there is one, and what the township will want to see.
Design & Permit
Layout, materials and railing style get settled, and the permit goes in before we order anything.
Frame & Inspect
Footings and framing go in and get inspected before they disappear under decking — that order is not negotiable.
Deck & Finish
Decking, stairs, railings and trim go on, the site is cleared, and we walk it with you.
